CURRICULUM

Maharishi Vedvyas Gurukul Vidyapeeth has developed a strong, successful & innovative education system which is meaningful & balanced in this modern era. The curriculum is based for developing physical, cognitive, social , emotional & spiritual skills of a student.

It caters to upgrade the IQ, EQ, SQ & AQ of a student. Students are taught Vedic & Vedantic scriptures also the knowledge from our holy scriptures Bhagwad Gita, Ramayana, Mahabharat & Upanishads.

All the subjects like Maths, Science, Arts & Social Sciences are taught by learned staff along with the medium of instructions Hindi, English & Sanskrit. Class
6 to class 8 Gurukul is affiliated to Dr.Goswami, Shri. Giridhari Lal Shastri, Shri. Prachiye Vidya Pratishthan , Jhandewalan, New Delhi

Subjects taught to students in these classes are :

Sanskrit, Hindi, Maths, Science, Social Sciences, English, Literature, History, Indian History, And Grammar

All course and books prescribed by the N.C.E.R.T are taught to students.
Classes 9 to class 12 is affiliated to Sampurnaanand Sanskrit University, Varanasi, U.P

Subjects taught to the students are :

Literature, Grammar, Hindi

English, as compulsory subjects with course and books prescribed by N.C. E.R.T and a optional subject from

Grammar, Literature, Hindi

All the students are taught Computers and English.

DAILY SCHEDULE AT GURUKUL

4.30 am - Walking Time

5.15 am - Yoga

6.45 am - Yagya

8.20 to 2.30 pm - Studies

3.30 pm to 5.30 pm - Martial arts and music class

5.30 pm to 6.30 pm - Games

6.30 pm to 7.30 pm - Daily evening Prayer and Arti

8.30 pm to 10. 00 pm - Study time after meals

10.00 pm - Bed time with Prayers.

EXCURSION & CO CURRICULUM

Aim of the balanced curriculum at Maharishi Vedvyas Gurukul Vidya Peeth is the overall development of the students. From time to time excursion and educational trips are organised. Students have visited Haridwar, Rishikesh, Dehradun, Mathura, Vrindavan and Agra. An yearly Delhi Darshan trip is organised to historical and religious places of Delhi. Gurukul children were invited to President's house on 14 November 2014. They met the President of Our country Sh. Pranab Mukherjee and told him about the Gurukul and also presented him with the literature of Maharajshri.
